Welcome Dr. Jessica Hults

We are excited to announce the arrival of a new OD and fellow to our Eye Surgeons of Indiana team – Dr. Jessica Hults. Dr. Hults will be joining the team on July 1st, 2019.

Dr. Hults is a native Hoosier, born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. She attended Heritage Christian School from kindergarten through high school before going on to study at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. During her undergraduate years at Indiana University, Dr. Hults was the Head Philanthropy Chair of her sorority and an award-winning member of the IU Wakeboard Club Team.

After completing three years of undergraduate school, Dr. Hults was recognized for her high academic performance and received early admission into Indiana University School of Optometry where she received her BS in Optometric Science, her doctoral degree in Optometry, and a Business Management Certificate in Eye Care before graduating in May of 2019. During her time at IUSO, Dr. Hults served as an Associate Instructor in clinic courses and as IUSO’s Club President of Beta Sigma Kappa (BSK) International Optometric Honor Society.

During her fourth year clinical rotations, Dr. Hults served as an extern at Wm. Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center in Columbia, SC, Indianapolis Eye Care Center in Indianapolis, IN, Lasik Pro Eye Consultants in Orlando, FL, and North Suburban Vision Consultants in Park Ridge, IL. She is very happy to be back home in Indiana after clinical rotations across the country to provide eye care to her hometown community!

In her free time, Dr. Hults enjoys doing water sports on Geist Reservoir with her family and listening to live music.
